24/7 MOBILE SERVICE · CHARLOTTE, NC + 200 MILES

Emergency Truck Repair Without the Tow

A breakdown never picks a good time. It’s 2 a.m. on I-77, the load is due at 7, and the truck won’t go another mile. Waiting hours for a heavy-duty tow — and paying for it — just to sit outside a shop that opens in the morning turns a bad night into a lost day.

Steelcore’s 24/7 roadside truck repair works the other way around. One call, and a mobile diesel mechanic heads to your truck in a fully equipped service van — on the shoulder, at an exit, at a truck stop or at a customer’s dock. We find the problem and, in most cases, fix it right there.

As a 24-hour truck repair service, we take calls nights, weekends and holidays across Charlotte and about 200 miles around it, including I-77, I-85, I-485, US-74 and I-40. Owner-operator or fleet, you get the same semi truck roadside assistance — and if the trailer is the problem, we fix that too.

How Emergency Roadside Repair Works

  1. Call or Text

Tell us where the truck is — exit, mile marker or address — plus the unit number and what's going on. A photo of the dash lights or the problem helps.

  2. We Roll Out

A mobile truck mechanic heads your way with the tools and parts for the job. You get a real ETA on the phone, not a guess.

  3. Fixed and Rolling

We find the cause, explain what the truck needs and what it will cost, make the repair and get you back on the road.

Broken Down? What to Do While We’re On the Way

When You Call, Tell Us

  • Where you are: highway, direction and the nearest exit or mile marker — or text us your location pin.
  • The truck: make, unit number and the VIN if it's handy.
  • What happened: warning lights, fault codes, smoke, leaks or noises. A photo of the dash helps us bring the right parts.
  • Your load: loaded or empty, and whether it's hazmat.
  • Billing: company name and PO number, if your fleet uses one.

Stay Safe Until We Arrive

  1. If the truck can still move, get off at an exit or onto a wide shoulder.
  2. As soon as you stop, turn on your hazard lights.
  3. Within 10 minutes, set out your warning triangles. On a divided highway, place them about 10, 100 and 200 feet behind the truck.
  4. Stay out of the travel lanes. If you have to get out, use the side away from traffic.

Smoke, fire, a fuel spill or stopped in a live lane? Call 911 first, then call us.
